A vocabulary of truth and simplicity will be of service
throughout your life.

Winston Churchill

Before publishing a newly written or translated text, it is essential to bring in fresh eyes to look it over. In fact, a text for publication, whatever the medium it will be published in, must have perfect spelling and syntax, and be clearly formulated and precisely worded. Every little detail counts, and it takes a practiced eye to spot the slightest irregularity.
I received my training as a professional proofreader at the Paris Centre d'Ecriture et de Communication (Paris Center for Writing and Communication). Those courses were taught, in particular, by Jean-Pierre Colignon, the head proofreader of the newspaper Le Monde, and Jacques Décourt, the author of several works on the French language and an instructor at the Ecole supérieure de journalisme de Lille (the Lille school for advanced studies in journalism). I am therefore able to pick up the slightest irregularity and provide you with a text free of any misprints, errata or typos.

Proofreading rates depend on various elements such as the technical nature of the text, the format and the deadline.

Please contact me for an estimate. I will get back to you within 24 hours (workdays).
